Plain English

What it is
LGD-3303 is a SARM, a lab-made drug that targets the body's muscle-building hormone signals (the androgen receptor). It is sold only as a research chemical, not as an approved medicine. It is an older compound from a drug company that never finished development.
What people use it for
In bodybuilding and body-recomposition circles, a small number of people try it hoping to build muscle or lean out. This is anecdotal and is not an approved use. Community use is uncommon, and people who try it often compare it to LGD-4033 with mixed reports.
What the science shows
The research on LGD-3303 is preclinical, meaning it was only tested in animals such as rats, including bone-loss (osteoporosis) models. There is no completed human clinical program. The original drug company did not advance it past early development.
The catch
The FDA has warned the public that SARMs are not approved, are sold illegally, and are often mislabeled, with reports of liver damage and a higher risk of heart attack and stroke. SARMs are also banned in sport at all times as anabolic agents (WADA category S1.2). Common real risks include lowered natural testosterone, liver strain, and worse cholesterol.

Reference summary

Preclinical osteoporosis-model work exists; no completed human clinical program.
