BAC water calculator

Calculate how many milliliters of bacteriostatic water to add to a peptide vial to reach a target concentration.

What this calculator returns

Formula and example

BAC water volume equals vial mass in micrograms divided by the target concentration in mcg/ml.

This is the inverse of the peptide reconstitution calculator: choose concentration first, then solve for diluent volume.

Worked example: A 5 mg vial contains 5,000 mcg. To land at 2,500 mcg/ml, divide 5,000 by 2,500 and add 2 ml of BAC water.
