Reconstituted-vial storage window calculator
Estimate a generic reconstituted-vial usable-window end date from reconstitution date, storage choice, and optional custom day limit.
What this calculator returns
- A generic usable-window end date from reconstitution date and storage choice.
- Days remaining or days elapsed.
- Optional custom day-limit override.
Formula and example
The default references are 30 days refrigerated and 60 days frozen. A custom window overrides that day count when a source gives a different limit.
The calculator compares calendar dates, not elapsed milliseconds, so daylight-saving transitions do not distort days remaining. It does not validate sterility, potency, or storage conditions.
Worked example: A vial reconstituted on June 3 with the default refrigerated 30-day window returns July 3 as the generic window end date.
Warnings and boundaries
- The output is a calendar reference, not sterility validation.
- Peptide stability varies by compound, diluent, storage, and source instructions.
- Confirm the actual usable window with the source or pharmacy.
